Q: Do you have roller skates or inline skates ?
A: We rent both roller skates & inline skates from sizes Toddler 7 to Adult size 15

Q: Can I bring in my own skates?
A: Yes, you may bring in your own roller skates or inline skates

Q: Do you charge admission for everyone to enter ?
A:  Yes, everyone pays admission on a public skating sessions to enter unless it is a parent chaperoning kids or a group to skate

If chaperoning parents decide to skate, then the regular admission and skate fee applies.

Q: I did not book a birthday party…Can I still bring in a cake?
A: A  party package must be booked in advance in order to bring in a cake.

Q: Do I pay admission if I am meeting a group of friends and not skating?
A: Yes, everyone pays admission to enter unless you are a parent or grandparent bringing in kids to skate

Q: Do you allow strollers, push toys, skateboards, wheelchairs,etc on public skating sessions?
A: No, for safety reasons, we do not allow any other toys or items on the rink during public skating sessions.

 

 

PUBLIC BIRTHDAY PARTIES FAQ’s

Q: What do I need to do to reserve a party ?
A: For a Public Party, we require a reservation & $100 non-refundable deposit at time of booking. You may bring your own cake – but only if a Party Package is purchased; deposit has been made, and reservation has been confirmed

Q: Can I book a party package for a group if it’s not a birthday?
A: Yes, we have different groups (teams, schools, churches, scouts,etc) that book a party package for their event.

Q: Do I have to book a party in order to bring in a cake or cupcakes?
A: Yes, a party package be reserved in order to bring in a birthday cake or cupcakes.

Q: When do you book public birthday parties?
A: All birthday parties are booked during public skate sessions.

Q: When do you book private parties ?
A: Private Parties are booked during non-public skating hours with a reservation & $300 non-refundable deposit. See current public skating schedule and private parties for more details.

Q: Do I need to provide a guest list for my party ?
A: Yes, All parties will submit a guest list by the day of your party, with list of names of invited skaters. You may email your Guest List two days ahead of time to info@skatedairyashford.com or fax to 281.493.9202

Q: Can I bring in other food or drinks besides a cake?
A: No, we do not allow other food or drinks on a public birthday party or public skating session (exception private parties).

Q: Can I bring my own skates or inline skates?
A: Yes, you may bring your own roller skates or inline skates.

Q: When do I pay for the party?
A: Final payment is due the day of your party and sales tax is added to your final bill.

The $100 deposit is applied to your bill and the balance due may be paid in cash or credit card.

Q: Can parents walk on the skating rink with their child?
A: We only allow parents to walk in the middle of the skating rink between the cones or on the side ramps.

Q: I have booked a public session party, what do I need to bring?
A: You need to bring a Guest List of invited skaters, a cake, knife, and candles.

Q: How early can I arrive before my party?
A: Party check time is no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled party time

PRIVATE PARTY FAQ’S

 

Q: What do I need to do to book a private party?

Q: Can I bring in my own food or drinks on a private party?
A: Yes, only on private parties we do allow outside food & non-alcoholic drinks to be brought in.

Q: Do you allow strollers, push toys, or wheelchairs on private parties?
A: Yes, only on private parties, we do allow other toys or items on the rink.

Q: Can I have my private party catered or outside party vendors brought in?
A: Yes, you may have food catered, a photo booth, balloon artist, face painter, etc, on private parties.

Q: Do you allow outside DJ’s on private parties?
A: No, we do not allow outside DJ’s to host private parties. We only allow our DJ’s to use our equipment and sound system.

Q: Can I play certain music or bring an iPod for the DJ?
A: Yes, please let us know what kind of music you would like for your private party, iPod & playlists are welcome on private parties.

Q: If our private party is for 2 hours, can we pay for an extra hour?
A: Yes, provided there is extra time available, and it is done at the time of booking. An extra hour is $200 on weekdays and , and usually available on certain days and times. Please call the rink for availability at 281.493.5651
