Q: What do I need to do to reserve a party ?

A: For a Public Party, we require a reservation & $50 non-refundable deposit at time of booking. You may bring your own cake – but only if a Party Package is purchased; deposit has been made, and reservation has been confirmed

Q: Can I book a party package for a group if it’s not a birthday?

A: Yes, we have different groups (teams, schools, churches, scouts,etc) that book a party package for their event.

Q: Do I have to book a party in order to bring in a cake or cupcakes?

A: Yes, a party package be reserved in order to bring in a birthday cake or cupcakes.

Q: When do you book public birthday parties?

A: All birthday parties are booked during public skate sessions.

Q: When do you book private parties ?

A: Private Parties are booked during non-public skating hours with a reservation & $100 non-refundable deposit. See current public skating schedule and private parties for more details.

Q: Do I need to provide a guest list for my party ?

A: Yes, All parties will submit a guest list by the day of your party, with list of names of invited skaters. You may email your Guest List two days ahead of time to info@skatedairyashford.com or fax to 281.493.9202

Q: Can I bring in other food or drinks besides a cake?

A: No, we do not allow other food or drinks on a public birthday party or public skating session (exception private parties).

Q: Can I bring my own skates or inline skates?

A: Yes, you may bring your own roller skates or inline skates, however, we do not allow scooters or other toys on the rink

Q:  Are skatemates or the white helpers included in the party?

A: No, skatemates are not included in the party.  They are $ 5 for 2 hours

Q: When do I pay for the party?

A: Final payment is due the day of your party and sales tax is added to your final bill. The $50 deposit is applied to your bill and the balance due may be paid in cash or credit card. We do not accept checks.

Q: Can parents walk on the skating rink with their child?

A: We only allow parents to walk at the back of the skating rink in the beginner section or on the side ramps.

Q: I have booked a public session party, what do I need to bring?

A: You need to bring a Guest List of invited skaters, a cake, knife, and candles.

Q: How early can I arrive before my party?

A: Party check time is no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled party time

Q: Can we stay to skate after our two hour public party time is over?

A: Yes, if we are still open for skating after your party is over, you may stay to skate. However, all party tables, seating areas, and personal belongings in the snack bar must be cleared for later parties coming in.

Q: Do you allow strollers, push toys, skateboards, wheelchairs, etc, on public birthday parties?

A: No, for safety reasons, we do not allow any other toys or items on the rink during public skating sessions
