DAIRY ASHFORD ROLLER RINK…A HISTORY
The Dairy Ashford Roller Rink opened in 1974 and is a roller skating rink and family entertainment center. This is a family owned business that remains committed to providing a clean, safe and fun atmosphere for all ages for over 37 years.
Back in the Day
The 1970’s was a time of great changes, big and small. The country was experience an energy crisis, the war in Vietnam was coming to a close, disco music was beginning to emerge on the dance floors and the Dairy Ashford Roller Rink opened it’s doors in Houston.
It was the mid 1970’s, a time of bell bottoms, big hair, big cars and great music. In the middle of all these things going on was roller skating. The majority of those trends came and went, but our roller rink kept on going and continues today. We hope you will come experience the timeless fun of roller skating fun. From our family to yours, we invite you!
Our unique atmosphere consists of a large and smooth wood skating floor ( 65’ x 180’) , a top of the line digital sound system and light system with over 3000 songs and 25 strobe lights that make DARR the place to skate in Houston.
Dairy Ashford Roller Rink is one the best places to host any type of party, reunion, meeting , birthday party, or special event whether for a small or large group. Our facility has hosted many fun events and birthday parties for kids, teens and adults, church events, corporate/adult private parties, scout groups, sports teams, and school groups.
We host one the easiest and best Birthday Parties in town! Our selection of rental skates include traditional roller skates and inlines (rollerblades). We have a fully stocked snack bar complete with refreshments, snacks, and hot meals.
We also have a large dining area for parties and general seating with 2 big screen televisions for viewing. Dairy Ashford Roller Rink is one of the best rinks in the area . We work hard to provide our customers with a fun atmosphere, clean and updated skating rink, and good wholesome fun for all ages!
